Page 1 of 2 The new year and new semester began unlike any other. Sigma Tau Xi was negotiating with the University and Phi Delta Theta. On February 14, 1993, and under the presidency of Brother Sandoval, Sigma Tau Xi voted unanimously to petition Phi Delta Theta for colony status. Having previously met with the University’s Greek Review Board and granted permission to "go national," Sigma Tau Xi was ready and determined to be a Phi Delt Colony. All the paperwork was completed and now the fraternity waited for a response.
